1. Operator and scope
The Nomad Shophouse is operated by Good Earth Construction Sdn Bhd (BRN 199401016482), at 20, Jalan Pudu Lama, 50200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
These terms cover our website, coworking passes, timed bookings of private offices, meeting rooms and studio facilities, and managed living-space bookings.
Nothing in these terms removes any right, guarantee, remedy or protection that applicable Malaysian law gives you and does not allow us to exclude.
If you book for an organisation or another adult, you must have authority to make the booking on their behalf. Please give each user the applicable booking information and house rules.
2. Information, acceptance and confirmation
An enquiry does not reserve a space. Before payment, we will provide or make available the applicable service description, availability, dates and times, price, cancellation deadline and these terms.
You must have an opportunity to review and accept the terms before committing to a purchase. The version accepted for that transaction applies to it.
A booking or pass is confirmed when we have received full payment and issued an express booking or pass confirmation. An automated acknowledgement that an order or payment was received is not, by itself, confirmation unless it expressly says otherwise.
We will acknowledge orders without undue delay. If we cannot accept an order after receiving payment, we will inform you and refund the payment.
Please check your details before submitting an order. Contact us promptly about an error before or after confirmation so that we can help resolve it. Duplicate payments and incorrect charges will be corrected, including where a pass has already been activated.
Photographs may illustrate a category. We will identify material differences affecting your booking before payment. After confirmation, a material change requires your agreement. If we cannot supply the agreed service and you do not accept an alternative, section 10 applies.
Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with its operation.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Before payment, we will show the total payable, applicable taxes and mandatory charges, payment methods, and any separately payable amount and when it is due.
Optional additions require your agreement. We will not add an undisclosed mandatory fee after you have committed to a booking.
Provide accurate booking and payment information. Enter card details only through the designated payment provider; do not send full card numbers or security codes to us by email or WhatsApp.
4. Coworking passes
Before purchase, we will state the pass’s access hours, visit allowance, activation deadline and validity or expiry period.
Activation means the first use of the pass, or a different activation date expressly selected and disclosed before purchase. Sending a confirmation or issuing an access credential does not by itself activate a pass.
Day and Afternoon passes bought for a group are for the same group visit unless agreed otherwise before purchase. Passes are personal and may not be transferred without our written agreement.
An unactivated pass may be cancelled for a full refund. After activation, passes are non-refundable for a change of mind. This does not prevent correction of duplicate payments or incorrect charges, remedies for a service we fail to provide, or the exercise of rights under applicable law.
Unused visits expire on the disclosed expiry date. If our closure prevents use during the purchased validity period, we will offer a reasonable extension or an appropriate refund for the affected unused entitlement.
Wednesday community access is free only when separately offered and may require advance registration.
5. Private offices, meeting rooms and studio
Timed facility bookings are subject to the agreed start and end times, permitted capacity, equipment and inclusions disclosed before payment.
Describe the intended activity accurately. Obtain our agreement before bringing unusual equipment or external suppliers, or conducting an activity likely to affect other users.
Additional time requires availability and agreement on its price. Cancellation and rescheduling are governed by section 7.
6. Managed living spaces
Managed living spaces are offered on the intended basis of a personal contractual licence allowing the named occupants to occupy the allocated space and use designated shared facilities for the agreed period.
This description does not determine any classification, protection or obligation that applies under Malaysian law. Nothing in these terms overrides that law.
The minimum booking period is seven nights. Transfer, assignment or additional occupants require our written agreement.
Before payment, we will identify the space or category, arrival and departure dates, bathroom arrangement, shared facilities, included services, total price and any material restrictions. These details will also appear in the confirmation.
Initial access is by appointment, normally between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please agree your appointment with us and tell us promptly if delayed. On the final day, vacate and lock the allocated space by 11 a.m., unless a different arrangement has been agreed.
Cancellation, rescheduling, non-arrival and early departure are governed by section 7.
7. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
A timed facility or managed living-space booking receives a full refund if we receive your cancellation by 11:59:59 p.m., Kuala Lumpur time (UTC+8), on the date three calendar dates before its scheduled start date or arrival date. Weekends and public holidays count.
For example, a booking starting or an arrival scheduled for Friday, 18 September 2026 may be cancelled for a full refund until the end of Tuesday, 15 September 2026.
We will show your actual cancellation deadline before payment and in your confirmation. If you book after that deadline, we will explain before payment that the full-refund cancellation window has already passed and identify the late-cancellation charge that applies.
Send a cancellation or rescheduling request to hello@nomadshophouse.com or WhatsApp +60 11-6520 0855. Include enough information to identify the booking and state whether you wish to cancel or reschedule.
We count receipt when your message reaches our designated email or WhatsApp system, including outside staff working hours. Staff reading or acknowledging it later does not make a timely request late. We will acknowledge receipt without undue delay.
You may request rescheduling without an amendment fee before the scheduled start or arrival date. The request must reach us by 11:59:59 p.m. Kuala Lumpur time on the preceding date. Rescheduling is subject to availability. We will disclose any price difference for your agreement; a lower price will result in a corresponding refund.
Your original booking remains in place until a replacement is agreed unless you also instruct us to cancel it. Rescheduling does not create a new full-refund period. The applicable cancellation deadline is the earlier of the original deadline and the deadline calculated from the replacement date.
If you cancel a timed facility or managed living-space booking after the full-refund deadline but before it begins, the cancellation charge is 100% of the total agreed price of the cancelled booking. The same charge applies to a no-show. For an early departure from a managed living space, the charge is 100% of the agreed price attributable to the unused nights; charges for nights already supplied remain payable.
Missing an access appointment does not automatically cancel the whole booking. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you and explain any proposed cancellation before treating a managed living-space booking as a no-show.
The cancellation charge does not apply to duplicate or incorrect charges, cancellation resulting from our failure to provide the agreed service, or circumstances in which applicable law gives you an inconsistent refund or remedy. The charge and its consequences will be disclosed before payment and identified in your confirmation.
We will initiate approved refunds without undue delay and within 14 calendar days. Refunds normally use the original payment method. Payment-provider processing may affect when funds appear in your account. We will not deduct an administration or processing fee from a full refund promised under these terms.
This section does not restrict any more favourable remedy available under applicable law.
8. Access, visitors, building information and house rules
The Shophouse uses secure self-access. Keep keys and access credentials secure and use them only for authorised users and periods.
You are responsible for reasonable loss caused by your breach, negligence or deliberate conduct. For lost keys or damage, we will explain the basis and reasonable repair or replacement cost, excluding ordinary wear and tear, and give you an opportunity to respond.
The building has no lift or step-free access. Reaching its highest level involves approximately three storeys of stairs. Contact us before booking for information about the particular space and route so that you can assess suitability. This information does not waive our legal responsibilities.
- Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Smoking, vaping and open flames are prohibited inside.
- Pets require our prior written agreement.
- Cooking is permitted only in designated kitchen areas.
- Keep shared areas clean and use them considerately.
- Managed living-space visitors are permitted from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with prior notice and registration.
- Overnight occupants must be included in the confirmed booking.
- Follow reasonable safety and emergency instructions.
9. Breaches, suspension and ending access
We may take proportionate action in response to illegal activity, dangerous conduct, harassment, substantial nuisance, unauthorised occupants, or serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
For a breach that can reasonably be remedied, we will normally explain the issue and allow a reasonable opportunity to put it right before ending access.
Where an immediate threat requires urgent action, we may take necessary protective measures and contact the relevant authorities. We will explain our action as soon as reasonably practicable and review any continuing restriction.
Termination and recovery of possession of a managed living space will follow the process required by applicable law. These terms do not authorise unlawful eviction, withholding personal belongings or interference with emergency exit.
If a booking ends because of your breach, we will account for unused payments and any amount recoverable under these terms and law. We will explain any deduction and will not automatically forfeit every unused payment merely because we have ended access.
10. If we cannot provide the service
If we cancel, close the relevant space, or cannot provide a material part of the agreed service, we will notify you promptly.
We may offer an alternative, but you do not have to accept a materially different service. If no suitable alternative is agreed, we will refund the amount paid for the service we cannot provide, including the appropriate unused portion of a partly completed booking or pass.
If an event beyond reasonable control disrupts supply, we will take reasonable steps to reduce its effect and keep you informed. Such an event does not automatically entitle us to retain payment for an unprovided service.
These arrangements do not limit additional remedies available under applicable law.
11. Responsibility and liability
We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing our services. Please take reasonable care of your belongings and promptly report hazards, damage or security concerns.
Responsibility for loss will be determined under applicable Malaysian law, taking account of its cause and each party’s contribution.
These terms do not exclude our liability for negligence, fraud or deliberate wrongdoing, or remove applicable rights relating to injury, property damage, service failures or other loss.
12. Privacy, changes and governing law
Our Privacy Notice explains our handling of personal data and your choices. Accepting these terms is not consent to optional marketing.
Changes to these terms apply prospectively. An existing confirmed transaction remains governed by its accepted terms unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
Reasonable safety instructions may be introduced when necessary, but they will not be used to reduce a purchased service without addressing the consequences under these terms.
Malaysian law governs these terms. Malaysian courts have jurisdiction, without restricting any tribunal, complaint mechanism or remedy available under mandatory law.
13. Contact and complaints
For enquiries, corrections, cancellations, privacy requests or complaints, contact Good Earth Construction Sdn Bhd (BRN 199401016482), 20, Jalan Pudu Lama, 50200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; email hello@nomadshophouse.com; telephone or WhatsApp +60 11-6520 0855.
Please explain the issue and provide the relevant booking reference if available. We will acknowledge complaints without undue delay and seek to resolve them fairly.
